In the new Beauty State of Influence, we’ll be sharing the top influencer marketing strategies and beauty trends from 2022.
A few highlights include:
- Sponsored influencer content decreased from the prior year, but the surge in consumption of short-form video content has continued.
- Creators explored ways to have more control and be less dependent on the major social platforms.
- Consumers and brands both prioritized authenticity. Not only was this represented in content themes (e.g. the rise of “get-ready-with-me storytelling”), it changed how brands spent money (i.e. prioritized boosting user generated content instead of producing polished, in-house content).
We also take a look at the influencer marketing strategies that leading brands like Fenty Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, Rene Furterer, Lancôme, Avéne, and Typology are implementing to create sophisticated and impactful programs.
