‍We have been made aware of fraudulent activity where unauthorized individuals are impersonating Traackr employees, recruiters, or business managers to contact members of the public.These third parties often contact individuals via social media or messaging apps, offering employment, freelance work, or compensation in return for the completion of certain "tasks" or data optimization. Their tactics frequently involve the use of a fake software platform bearing the Traackr name and logo to appear legitimate.

‍Please be advised: These schemes often require the recipient to send their own funds (via cryptocurrency or bank transfer) during the interaction under the guise of a "security deposit," "training fee," or "account unlock fee." These funds are never returned.Traackr is not associated with these individuals and does not operate in this manner.

‍How to Identify Genuine CommunicationIf you are contacted by someone claiming to work for Traackr, please use the following guidelines to verify their identity.

‍Genuine communication from Traackr will:

• ALWAYS originate from an official email address with the domain name: @traackr.com
• ALWAYS conduct formal recruitment processes (including video interviews and official offer letters sent via email).

Genuine communication from Traackr will:

• NEVER be conducted primarily via messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, or text message.
• NEVER originate from generic email domains (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Hotmail).
• NEVER require you to send your own funds to secure a job or receive a payment.
• NEVER deal in cryptocurrency (e.g., USDT, ETH, BTC) for payroll or commissions.
• NEVER ask for your personal banking passwords or PINs.

Common Scam Tactics to Watch ForBe suspicious if the person contacting you:

• Contacts you unsolicited via Telegram, WhatsApp, Reddit, Facebook, or Instagram DMs.
• Pressures you to act immediately or promises unrealistically high returns for little work.
• Directs you to a website that looks like Traackr but has a slightly different URL.
• Asks you to purchase "credits" or "recharge" an account to continue working.

What to do if you suspect a scamIf you have any doubt about a communication that appears to be from Traackr:

1. Do not engage: Do not reply, click on any links, or download any attachments.
2. Do not pay: Never transfer money or cryptocurrency to these individuals.
3. Report the account: Use the reporting function within the specific app (e.g., Telegram or WhatsApp) to flag the user as spam/fraud.
